  The blond woman at the front desk was extremely rude. She told me I owed $450 for the surgery, and I informed her that I met my deductible. When I told her that, she began to huff and puff and then told me I hadn't met it(even though I knew I had). So, i put her on the phone to my insurance, and she told me then, she'd collect 10%, which is correct. Her boss then pulled me into a side room and explained to me that it's their policy to try and collect the FULL amount. I told her that's messed up, especially being that this is a surgery center and that I'm on disability pay right not. So, needless to say, she kicked me out of the center and I'll have to schedule something in the DFW area. Sad thing is, there's no one that's going to do nothing about this at all. She'll continue to be condescending to the patients. Must be nice to be so secure in a job to where you can speak to people the way she did me with absolutely no repercussions whatsoever. I needed the back surgery and this is the only place within 300 miles that's able to do it. That is before those two employees of the Surgery Center came along. Side note: I didn't use profanity, I didn't yell at her, i did express my concern to them, and they didn't want the other patients to hear it, so that's why they took me to a side room...hopefully someone reading this of importance can go into their office and watch them work. You shouldn't "kick" a patient out of he building and not let them get their surgery. Especially if they already paid for it!
